Easter Weekend

We celebrated Easter Weekend at our house and Grandma and the Davis Family came up to celebrate with us.
Mommy, Brayden and I were having a great time playing on the playground. We were all racing to see who could make it down the slide the fastest.
I got a big-girl bike while Daddy was here, but I'm still trying to get the hang of pedaling. Grandma was trying to help me but I think I still need more practice. And yes I am wearing snow boots... while Daddy was here he sat my one and only pair of shoes on top of the car and drove off. So now the only pair of shoes I have are snow boots. Mommy refuses to buy me new shoes since it's almost summer and I wear flip-flops all summer long.

Grandma and a silly faced Kellen.

All of us kids were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie.

Saturday morning we went to an egg hunt and got lots of easter eggs.

Kellen, Mommy and I

When we got home we all got to dye Easter eggs. Afterwards Mommy and Preston were hiding over 100 eggs in the yard and we were making silly faces at Aunt Pretty and Grandma showing off our pretty eggs.

Of course I went for the purple eggs first!!!

We did Easter dinner on Saturday since Kourtnee needed to get back to Wichita early on Sunday. Kellen was enjoying the deviled eggs just as much as the rest of us. I think he ate 5 eggs!!!

I love my Mom!! Mommy worked really hard on Saturday... she mowed the grass for the first time this year, she said it was really hard work. Grandma helped Mom by trimming the bushes and pulling some weeds. If we ever wanna sell the house it needs to look pretty. Hopefully the weather will get a little bit better and I can help Mom plant some pretty flowers!

Mom and Aunt Pretty

Down time at home

Sometimes it seems like the commotion never stops around here... we got home from Wichita on a Thursday and the following Thursday Kim Gaspar and her kids came to visit, 2 days after they left Dad came, then 2 days after Dad left Grandma and my cousins came. There is always something going on around my house.
I have been practicing writing my letters a lot lately. I can sit here all day and write letters.
I also LOVE to paint. In case you didn't know my 2 favorite colors are red and purple... notice the colors that are on my paper in this picture?!!

While the Gaspars' were here we went to Monkey Bizness along with Addison. It is full of inflatables and climbing things. We all had so much fun. I loved it when Mom would go down the slide with me. She even took Kellen down a couple times.

This slide went SUPER fast!!
Danielle came over to babysit all the kids and Mom and Kim had a girls night out.

For weeks every time Mom asks me what I want to get Daddy for his birthday I said a brown heart, so Mom and I made him a heart but I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to paint it blue. We shipped it to Daddy but he hasn't got it yet... I hope it didn't get lost in the mail, I worked really hard on that heart.

Kellen is so big now... he is holding his own bottle and sitting up all by himself. I love to make him laugh!!

Kellen is also eating more than just baby food now. He might make a mess but he gets the food in his mouth.

Phoenix-Wichita Trip

We decided to drive to Phoenix again... I know we are crazy!!! Michelle was off on spring break and her brother lives there so her and Addison came along for the ride. We drove half way then stopped in Tucumcari, NM then got up the next morning and drove into Phoenix. First we had to drop off Michelle and Addison at Uncle Christopher's house in Tempe, then we headed to Uncle Gregg's house. Kellen and I were really great on the drive, I watched movies the whole time and believe it or not Kellen was awake and happy most of the time. For someone who sleeps 19 hours a day it was amazing that he was awake probably 7 hours each day in the car. Mom is definitely blessed with him!!

Addison's Uncle Christopher got tickets to the Suns game... but Mom left Kellen and I at Uncle Gregg's house and went without us..."How rude!!!". She said they had great seats and got to see the Suns win, which I guess wasn't happening much before that.

The next day we all went to the Royals Giants Spring Training game. Addison and I had a great time throwing the ball up and down along the fence. Kellen didn't have as much fun as we did!!

This is Kellen for about an hour during the game. Mom did her best to keep him covered so he wouldn't get sunburnt but it was so warm that with a blanket he couldn't get a breeze. He did well until he got really tired and then Mom had to keep leaving to take him to the shade to keep him happy. Other than Kellen being tired we had a great time at the game.

Tuesday was St. Patricks day and us along with the rest of the city decided to head to the zoo. It was a perfect day for the zoo. This was Kellen's first time going to the zoo... I don't think he enjoyed the animals as much as I did. Addison and I had so much fun checking out all the animals. WE LOVE THE ZOO!!

Mommy bought me this train set and I love it. I kept getting mad at Kellen everytime he knocked the trains off the track. Uncle Gregg thought it was funny to switch up the order of the train cars... that really made me mad, everyone knows that I am very particular about orders of things. Once I see something in an order I can't change that, it must stay like that everytime.

Once we left Phoenix we drove to Wichita. We always have the best time at Grandma's house. We were there a couple days then Daddy had to move to Phoenix so he drove through Wichita on the way out of town and stayed with us for 2 days then headed to Phoenix. We miss Daddy so much we can't wait to see him at the end of April.
My cousins Brayden, Konnor and Kourtnee

Those of you might remember we have the exact same picture from when I was 6 months old. Everyone freaked out because of how high I am in the sky, but I love it when Daddy throws me up so high!!

The last night Daddy was there we went to a Wichita State baseball game with Aunt Pretty and her family. He was pretty cold but Konnor and I had lots of fun running around. Konnor and I even got on the "Jumbo-Tron" we were dancing to the music and they caught us on camera.

We had a great time in Phoenix and Wichita but after a little over 2 weeks Mom was ready to get back home. I think she was tired of sleeping in the same room as Kellen and I, it's not my fault that Kellen woke me up the last morning at 5am and I wouldn't go back to bed!!! That's the morning that Mom decided to pack the bags and head home.
