We've been home for a couple weeks now, which is a long time for us, but we are leaving on Friday for a trip to Wichita and then Mom and Kellen are going to Phoenix for a doctors appointment (they are trying to keep it a secret from me but I overheard Mom talking to Michelle about it. I really really want to go but Mom says I can't).
Otherwise things have been going well here. Kellen is getting so big, I can't believe he is almost 1, he is crawling all over the place and getting into all my stuff. He also loves to get into Mom's plants, I am constantly having to pull him away from the plants and vacuum up the mess!! We are getting ready for the summer to end and school to start. This year I am going to preschool at the elementary school where I am going to be a peer-model for special needs kids. My neighbor Katie is going to be in my class and we get to ride the bus together!! I am so excited about it. I convinced Mom to let me have a princess backpack even though she tried her hardest to get me a different one!! Last night while Mom was out mowing the grass I got my little mower out and still wearing my tutu I followed Mom around the yard "helping" her. The neighbors thought it was the funniest thing.
School is getting ready to start so Addison and I got to go shopping for some new schools clothes. I love my Addison!!
Kellen is starting to play with all my toys. He really likes to play with my vanity set, I think he just likes looking at himself in the mirror.

KELLEN NO!!! Every time I built it really high he crawled over so fast and knocked it over!!
And he thought it was funny, he would look at Mom and laugh about it every time he knocked it over. I didn't think it was that funny.
Kellen is trying to walk. Mom pulled out my walker and Kellen has been pushing it around everywhere. Mom will really have her hands full when he starts walking everywhere.
I love to have tea parties, but sometimes Kellen wants to join in. Mom usually tells me to let him play with me. Evidently he didn't want the yellow cup, that's why he's looking so disgusted!!

I always have to tell him NO KELLEN!!
And it eventually leads to me taking the toy away from him. We are still working on sharing. I know that if he has something that I want I have to find a replacement toy for him before I can have the other. Mom thinks it's kinda funny listening to me try to rationalize with a 11 month old. In the end I just take the toy and distract him with something else so he doesn't get mad.
Kellen is starting to turn into a fish just like I did. We could hang out in the pool all day. Whenever Kellen gets tired he just lays his head back on his raft and closes his eyes, it's pretty cute!!
